Cc as in Carrot starts with Cc, Cc, Cc

Kk as in Kite starts with Kk, Kk, Kk.

Mm as in Monkey starts with Mm, Mm, Mm.

Nn as in Necklace starts with Nn, Nn, Nn.

Ii as in Insect starts with Ii, Ii, Ii and

Hh as in Hat starts with Hh, Hh, Hh.

Please note that Cc is referred to as ‘curly c’ and Kk as ‘kicking k’

Sight words are look, at, Mum, I, can.

Numeracy

The children are learning to identify and write numbers 7, 8 ,9 and 10. We will also learn to count and order numbers to 10 in the correct order and use one to one correspondence.

HASS

Wattle Grove Primary School will be celebrating WA Day in week 8. The theme is 'Wander out Yonder' promoting WA locals to take a holiday in their ‘backyard’. Each classroom will be decorating their classroom door that features a location in WA. Our Kindy classroom will be decorating our door from the Perth/Peel region. Over the next two weeks, we will be busy preparing for this wonderful project. We would love our parents and caregivers to be a part of our project. Can you please bring in a family photo that captures yourself and your child out in the Perth or Peel region? Some examples are, Hillarys Boat Harbour, Perth City, Kings Park, Optus Stadium, Fremantle, Elizabeth Quay, Yagan Square and Whiteman Park.
